Manuscripts submitted to Nusantara International Journal of Islamic Studies (NIJIS) must be written in English, present original research, and must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication in any other journal.

The manuscript should normally be 6,000–8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.

Each manuscript must include the following components:

  • Title
  • Author(s)' name(s)
  • Institutional affiliation(s)
  • Corresponding author email
  • Abstract (150–250 words)
  • 4–6 keywords
  • Introduction
  • Method or Analytical Framework
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgements (if applicable)
  • References

Authors should ensure that the manuscript is clearly written, logically organized, and follows the journal's formatting requirements.

All citations and references must conform to the APA Style (7th Edition). Authors are encouraged to include Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for all references whenever available. The use of reference management software, such as Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote, or similar applications, is strongly recommended to ensure citation accuracy and consistency.
